Aside from picturesque wonders of nature and man-made creations, Ukraine also boasts with numerous massive shopping centers wherein you can shop ‘til you drop.  Since the country has growing economy, most of the shopping centers cater to everything you need.  The lists below are some of Ukraine’s magnificent shopping malls:
  • City Center- this great shopping center is known as the “city within the city”.  City Center has about 40 various stores and boutiques, which sell products in reasonable prices.

  • Globus- one of the most famous shopping malls in the historic city of Kiev.  It is frequented by locals and foreigners because of its magnificent architectural design and accessibility.

  • Mandarin Plaza- the premier shopping center in the heart of Ukraine’s capital city—Kiev.  Mandarin Plaza houses posh boutiques that display numerous latest apparels, footwear collections, perfumes, etc.

  • Metrograd- is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to provide its clients with total enjoyment and satisfaction when they shop at Freedom Square.  It is Kiev’s largest shopping and recreation center that has spacious area for entertainment activity.

One of the greatest advantages in buying items in the market is that you can haggle or ask discount with the product ‘til it drops to the last price.  Shopping in any Ukraine markets will lessen the stressful shopping trip since its market stores full range of groceries and household items.

 

Gift/ Souvenir Shops

   

In the busy streets of Ukraine, gift or souvenir shops grow like a mushroom.  There are many shops that can be found in the streets of Kievs, Odessa or in any tourist destination wherein you can buy popular souvenir items whether naturally or artificially made.

 

Antique Stores

   

There are several antique stores in different cities of Ukraine e.g. Kiev.  It houses quality small items to large pieces of antique furniture.   However, observe export rules to avoid yourself in trouble.

 

Bookstores

   

If you are a bookworm and fret if there will be less English novels or books being sold in Ukraine, do not worry as most of their bookstores has wide array of books from educational to entertainment, which is written in English and other languages.
